Based on a Gen 4 or Gen 3 5.3L GM LS series engine, this mid-range setup bridges the gap between our original "Boost Prep" and our fully built, 6.0 and 6.2 based performance LS engines. Professionally machined and assembled in house, our Boost Prep MAX engines offer a stronger, more effective solution for today's popular forced induction setups on the GM LS platform.


Utilizing the factory 5.3 block, crank, Callies Compstar connecting rods, and Diamond Racing Forged pistons, this engine is capable of handling 1000 crank horsepower. Couple that with all of the performance upgrades included in this engine and you're ready to throw on a turbo and turn it up!


The top end of these engines come with a BTR/LJMS cam kit of your choice ( includes cam, chromoly pushrods, dual valve springs, and retainers), trunion upgrade, CNC ported stock heads, LS1/LS6 MLS head gaskets, and a GM HD timing chain
